TWO BUSINESSES — TWO OPPORTUNITIES
MOBILE PIZZA OPERATION
On our beautiful 30-hectare off-grid property in southwest Portugal, we've already invested in the infrastructure for two complementary commercial enterprises.
Artisan Neapolitan Pizza Business
Our artisan pizza business has an equipped commissary kitchen, a mobile pizza trailer, and a traditional wood-fired oven.
We're looking for someone with professional pizza-making experience who has the skills and confidence to manage production and eventually take responsibility for the operation.
Experience with Neapolitan pizza, professional kitchen management, and mobile food operations would be especially valuable.
MUSHROOM FARM
Specialty Gourmet Mushroom Farm
Our mushroom production facility includes a dedicated cultivation laboratory, production equipment, and controlled growing environments.
We're seeking practical, motivated people with an interest in developing a specialty mushroom business.
Previous agricultural or mushroom cultivation experience would be advantageous, but people with strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are also welcome.
Training and guidance can be provided.
THE WIDER PROJECT
We're not simply looking for people to work alongside us indefinitely.
Our goal is to find the right people to gradually assume full responsibility for operating and developing these businesses, ultimately running them independently as their own livelihoods.
We have already made the substantial investments required to establish the business infrastructure.
What we now need are capable, committed partners who want to put that infrastructure to productive use.
Rather than requiring a capital investment to purchase ownership, we're interested in developing operating partnerships with increasing profit participation based on mutually agreed milestones, responsibilities, and performance.
As the businesses grow and our partners assume greater responsibility, our intention is to gradually step back, allowing them to take the lead and enjoy an increasing share of the profits they help create.
These are developing commercial opportunities, and immediate income cannot be guaranteed. Financial and working arrangements would be discussed openly and established through appropriate agreements.

Our goal is to create a balanced environment where productive work and personal independence complement one another, without the excessive working hours often associated with running a small business.

THE REALITIES OF LIVING HERE
Our property is in a beautiful but remote rural location in the Odemira region of Portugal.
We live off-grid, producing our own electricity and managing our water resources.
Access includes approximately two kilometers of rural dirt road.
Living here requires adaptability, resourcefulness, and a genuine appreciation for country life.
Our property is a strictly non-smoking and drug-free environment.
Candidates should have a valid driving license and reliable transportation or a realistic plan for meeting their transportation needs.
On-site accommodation is part of our intended arrangements for suitable partners, with the details depending on individual circumstances and availability.
We want people who will embrace this lifestyle rather than simply tolerate it.
